chocolate quinoa crunch bars

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raw quinoa
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

    Instructions

    Step 1

    Toast the quinoa – do this by heating up a saucepan on low to medium heat and pouring in your quinoa. Stir the quinoa around until you hear popping, stir for another minute or two and remove off heat.

    Step 2

    Melt your chocolate chips (you can melt with 1 tbsp of coconut oil for easier melting

    Step 3

    Add in creamy peanut butter/nut butter

    Step 4

    Mix well together and line a container with parchment paper

    Step 5

    Pour your mixture onto the piece of parchment paper and freeze for an hour to two

    Step 6

    Slice into bars and enjoy!
