Healthier Homemade Snickers Bars

Servings: 3-4 bars

Ingredients

  • nougat later:
    1/2 cup + 1 tbsp oat flour
    1/4 cup maple syrup
  • caramel layer:
    1/4 cup nut butter
    1/4 cup maple syrup
    4 tbsp peanuts
  • chocolate layer:
    1/3 cup chocolate chips
    (Optional) 1 tbsp coconut oil

    Instructions

    Step 1

    Mix all the ingredients for the base and flatten on a baking sheet/rectangle container, bake 350 for 8 minutes and let it chill

    Step 2

    Make the caramel sauce by mixing the nut butter and maple syrup, then mix in the peanuts

    Step 3

    Top the nougat with the caramel layer and let it freeze for 15 minutes to settle

    Step 4

    Slice into bars, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil and dip the bars in

     

    Step 5

    Freeze for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!
