Healthier Homemade No-Bake Twix Bars

Ingredients

  • base:
    1/2 + 1 tbsp oat flour
    1/4 cup maple syrup

  • caramel layer:
    1/4 cup peanut/nut butter
    1/4 cup maple syrup

  • chocolate layer:
    1/3 cup chocolate chips
    optional: 1 tbsp coconut oil to make the melting easier

Instructions

Step 1

Mix the ingredients for base, flatten it on a baking sheet, bake @350f for 8-10 minutes and let it cool

Step 2

Make the caramel sauce and spread it on top of the nougat base. let it freeze for 15 minutes to harden a bit

Step 3

Slice the Twix into bars

Step 4

Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil and dip the bars in it

Step 5

Freeze for another 20 min and enjoy!
