Healthy 5 Ingredient Chocolate Layered Cookies

Ingredients

  • cookies
    • 2/3 cup nut butter
    • 1/2 cup maple syrup
    • 1/2 cup almond flour (add more if needed)
    • 2 tbsp cocoa powder 
  • filling
    • 1/2 cup nut butter
    • 1/3 cup maple syrup
    • 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • chocolate drizzle
    • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
    • (optional) 1/2 tbsp coconut oil

 

Instructions

Step 1

mix the ingredients for the cookies until it turns into a dough

Step 2

form into cookies on a lined baking sheet

Step 3

bake @350F for 8-10 minutes

Step 4

prepare the chocolate filling by mixing the nut butter, maple syrup and cocoa powder well together

Step 5

once the cookies are done baking and are cooled, fill them with the chocolate filling

Step 6

melt your chocolate chips with coconut oil and fill it in a piping bag/ziplock bag with the tip cut off
